So, who else is ready for warm weather?
Corn Maze Planning Committee Meets Feb 12 Believe
it or not, the time is at hand to begin sorting out the details about the Carter County Corn Maze 2009. The Fair Board has
decided to continue the project and looks forward to another year of partnership with the East and West Carter FFA chapters
to make it happen. The representatives from each organization should be prepared to meet on THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 12, @ 6 pm
at PrintWorks -- that's the "Maze Mafia" --as they are casually described. They are the "bosses" that
work to steer the project, iron out the details and then disseminate the plans to their groups. Possible big changes are in
the works so we hope this meeting will be well attended.

Who the heck is writing this blog, anyway?
That would
be the fair board vice-president, Jill York. The board is made up of volunteers who want to work to bring great recreation
and educational opportunities to Carter County. The board meets monthly at the fairgrounds. For information about the rest
of the board, click here to jump to a page with a roster and more details.
We are excited that you are visiting our web site. Our purpose is to keep you up to date and informed on all the great
things happening at the fairgrounds.
On this site you'll find information
about our activities and facilities, plus ideas on how you might become involved with the great things going on at the Carter
County Fairgrounds.
