Carmichael Equipment presents the Hay Bale Toss
HAY BALE TOSS RULES
This is a free event. There is no cost
to play and you play at your own risk.
There are four divisions in the Hay Bale Toss competition. The divisions
are; men’s, women’s, boys (age 12 & under) and girls (age 12 & under). The division sign up sheet will
be located at the Carmichael Equipment booth.
The Hay Bale Toss event will start at 6:00pm and end at 9:00 pm
nightly. You only get two (2) tosses per night. No practice tosses.
If you toss the hay bale and it goes out of
the marked area, you can re-toss, but only one re-toss per night.
The winner each night is determined by whose
hay bale is tossed the farthest distance from the line. Distance is measured from where the hay bale stops, not where the
hay bale hits the ground.
Daily 1st place winner must compete in championship on Saturday to claim and receive
$5 prize.
2008 Hay Bale Toss Prizes. Champion of each division receives a trophy. Champion of each division receives
$20 plus daily $5 for a total $25. Losers of championship receive $5.
Daily 1st place winners MUST compete on
Saturday! If you are not going to be at the Fair on Saturday August 9, 2008 and compete in the championship, you can still
toss any night, but you can’t be the daily winner. Even if you toss the hay bale the furthest distance.
Daily
1st place winners of the hay bale toss will be announced on U-102.3 “GO RADIO” the following morning. So listen
to hear if you are a daily winner.
If your hay bale, when tossed, covers the secret spot on the playing area,
you win a “John Deere” prize from Carmichael Equipment. (Limited number of prizes per night, so toss early!)
