When does the Night Maze start?

Since dusk falls earlier and earlier throughout the fall months, its tough to post a "set time" that the night maze will begin each Saturday night. As the sun drops below the hill, we begin selling the Night Maze tickets at $7.50. For that, you get the added challenge of making it through the maze in the darkness -- but, we loan you a flashlight to help along the way. The last Night Maze ticket will be sold at 8 p.m. and we will be sending in our last maze participants shortly thereafter.

What's the deal with the "last ticket sold at 8pm?"

On Saturday, our hours of operation are 10 am to 8 pm. So, after darkness falls, we stop selling tickets at 8 pm. If you want to go through the night maze, you need to get your tickets before 8 pm and be ready to go through the maze shortly after that.

HINT: Check out the stars

On your way through the Night Maze, consider turning off your flashlight for a moment. When your eyes adjust to the darkness... look up at the night time sky. You will be away from all light sources and on a clear night the view is bursting with stars! It's worth a minute or two in the dark. Honest.

MAZE RULES

If you get frustrated, just remember, there is a way out! Relax and enjoy your adventure.

Allow 45 minutes to 90 minutes to complete the maze. Do not enter the maze if you are in a hurry to be somewhere else.

Kids under 12 MUST be under adult supervision at all times. We reserve the right to remove any stray children from the maze.

Do not pick, pull, throw or damage corn.

Stay on paths. “Short Cuts” permanently damage the maze.

If anyone in your party is asked to leave the premises, then your whole party has to leave as well. (You come together -- you leave together.)

Paths are rough and bumpy. Watch your step. Closed-toed shoes are recommended.

No smoking whatsoever in the maze.

No running in the maze.

MAZE SUGGESTIONS

On a hot day, wear a hat, sunscreen and sunglasses. Drink plenty of water. Dress in layers on cool days.

There are no restrooms inside the maze. You may want to use those facilities before entering the maze.

Watch for the 12 numbered stations. They will let you know how you are progressing through the maze.

If you get lost, remember that "Corn Cops” are on duty to assist you.

Listen and look for landmarks to orient yourself within the maze.

If you are part of a large group, break into smaller groups to see who can find their way out first.

Persons who are pregnant or who have heart or other medical conditions should be aware that the maze is designed to be challenging and might be considered strenuous by some.
