The Grayson Community Christmas Tree is in place and it is HUGE! The great folks at JMK Electric on Main Street allow the park next to their business to be transformed into "Jingle Bell Square" for the Christmas Season. Our friends at GRECC help by using their trucks to stand the tree upright and get it anchored in place and the great people of the Grayson Volunteer Fire Department make sure we can reach the top of the tree when we decorate

Friday night is the start of all the fun. Stop by the tree and we will have materials ready for you to make your very own ornament to place on the community tree! Let the Carter County Cloggers help get you in the jingle-bell spirit on the evening before the parade that brings Santa to town.The wonderful children from Star Elementary's choral group will be on hand to serenade us with sounds of the season.. and then at 7 pm... it's time to TURN ON THE TREE! So bundle up and bring the kids! Decorate, drink hot chocolate, listen to Christmas songs, see the lighting! All the fun will take place between 6 and 7 pm this Friday night!

SATURDAY CHRISTMAS PARADE

The Grayson Area Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade "Home for Christmas" will take place Saturday, Dec. 1 on Main Street in Grayson. Line up at Baptist Church next to Courthouse. Parade starts at 3 pm.

The Fair Board and its volunteers are proud to decorate the community tree.

Ladders and bucket trucks come in handy on a job like this one!

The tree makes a focal point for the parade and all of downtown.
