Who will be Miss Carter County Fair 2012?
Fair Pageant hopefuls vie for titles on August 5
Eleven age divisions from 0-21 years of age will compete for the crowns of the Miss Carter County Fair pageant to be held Sunday, August 5, 2:00 p.m. in the East Carter Middle School gym. Doors open at 1 p.m. with concessions available.
DEADLINE TO ENTER IS THURSDAY, AUGUST 2TH AT 5 P.M. NO LATE ENTRIES ACCEPTED.
Age Divisions include: Girls 0-11 months, Baby Miss; 12-23 months, Wee Miss; 24-35 months, Mini Miss; 3-4 years, Tiny Miss; 5-7 years, Little Miss; 8-10 years, Junior Miss; 11-12 years, Pre-Teen Miss;13-15 years, Teen Miss; 16-21 years, Miss Carter County Fair 2012. Boys 0-2 years Mr. Carter Co. fair.
All age divisions will compete on stage in formal wear or Sunday best attire. The 16-21 year age division Miss contestants will also compete in swimwear and one on stage interview question.
Optional Photogenic and Portfolio competitions will be held in each category.
All Queens and Kings will receive a trophy, crown and sash, and free admission to the fair. 1st and 2nd runners-up will receive a trophy. All contestants will receive a small trophy. Photogenic and Portfolio Winners will also receive a sash.

Miss Carter County Fair will receive paid entry fee to the Kentucky State Fair Pageant in January after attending a minimum of three nights of the Carter County Fair with two of the three being Friday and Saturday. Miss Carter County Fair is open to all counties in Kentucky.
Contestants must compete in beauty competition to be eligible for portfolio and photogenic competitions.
Beauty entry fees are $50; Photogenic $10 per photo (up to 3 photos no larger than 8x10, no frames); Portfolio (6-15 photos in album no larger than 8x10) $20.
Entry forms may be obtained online at www.cartercountyfair.org or in person at AA Firearms Unlimited, All Creatures Veterinary Care and Printworks in Grayson. Deadline to enter is Thursday, August 2th at 5 p.m. All completed entry forms and photos must be returned to AA Firearms or mailed to PO Box 1259, Grayson, KY 41143. NO LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED. It is the responsibility of the contestant to call to confirm receipt of entry if sent by mail.
