Outdoor events
Events occuring on the Fairgrounds are outdoors and posted times are approximate.
No refunds for rainouts
Tickets purchased at fair will not be refunded should event be rained out.
Walking surfaces
The fairgrounds are not paved. Walking surfaces may be dirt, gravel or grass. Be aware when planning footwear or making decisions about strollers.
No pets allowed
Please, no pets in-hand, in-bags or on leashes, This is for the safety of all, including your animal companion. Only trained service animals (guide dog, signal dog, or any other animal individually trained to provide assistance to an individual with a disability)
COVID policy
Please exercise social distancing during attendance and do not attend if you are not feeling well or have been found COVID positive within the last two weeks.
Free parking
There is no charge for parking at the Carter County Fair.

Patron Code of Conduct
Carter County Fair reserves the right to eject patrons for their conduct or refuse entry to any person(s) at any time at our discretion. The Carter County Fair is a family-friendly venue and we want all patrons to enjoy their fair-going experience.
Photo Consent
Photographs and/or film or video footage may be taken of you during your visit to the Carter County Fair, which may include you or your family member’s recognizable image(s) in photograph(s) or on video. By attending the Carter County Fair, you or your family members, grant permission for your likeness to be photographed or videoed or filmed while on the grounds of the Carter County Fair. You also authorize the Carter County Fair to use any photographs and film/video in print, digital, video or web-based format for promotional purposes and to keep in its archives in perpetuity.
