2011 Carter County Fair Talent Show Monday, August 8, 2011 at 7 p.m.

Always a hit, the Carter County Fair Talent Show for 2011 is offering cash and prize incentives and the opportunity to see just how much talent our community has to share with the world. If you sing, dance, tell jokes or have any other talent we want to see you Monday, August 8th at 7 p.m.!

TO COMPETE: Provide entry fee of $10 per act and completed registration form at the main stage from 6:30-6:45 p.m. on Monday, August 8th (Pre registration is required for any bands wishing to participate by calling 606-922-4391, BAND Entries WILL NOT be accepted the day of the show). Registration forms will be available at All Creatures Veterinary Care, Printworks and AA Firearms prior to the Fair or the day of the show at the main stage. Show begins at 7 p.m.

RULES: First place winners from previous fair talent show competitions are ineligible to compete. Professional acts are ineligible for this competition. Acts who have grossed $500 or more for their performances are considered "professionals". You must label your cd with your name and indicate which song you will perform. Failure to do so is grounds for disqualification. All first place winners will be invited back to perform on Friday, August 12th at the Fair!
